WOW 🚨 A company called Dow Inc has requested permission to discharge these pre-production plastic pellets directly into waters leading to San Antonio Bay

The discharges would go into waters connected to the Victoria Barge Canal, which feed San Antonio Bay and ultimately the Gulf of Mexico

The company filed a wastewater permit amendment application with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality

This is real, this company really is trying to discharge an “unspecified amount” of these plastic beads into our waterways. This would literally legalize plastic pollution

This woman wants to go from DC to New York for the holidays, she’s booking 4 months in advance to get a deal. The price is still $644… to ride the train..

To fly Delta it would only be $270 and she could take Uber Black to and from the airport and it would still be cheaper than riding the train

“I love Trains and public transportation and taking the Amtrak. But that is unbelievable that it is over $600 to take the train and it is less than half of that to fly. So Amtrak needs to get it together 'cause that is ridiculous. Ridiculous.”

Keep in mind, Amtrak is public transportation. the U.S. government is its controlling majority shareholder

Amtrak gets roughly $2.4 billion per year in funding and they are still charging this much for tickets

The IRS is threatening to seize a Tennessee man's farm after charging him interest on a $20,000 refund it accidentally sent him, which he immediately tried to return.

Wilson Perry Kirby, 76, says he was accidentally sent $20,000 by the IRS in 2022.

Kirby immediately tried returning the money and even hired an accountant to fix the issue.

Instead, the IRS is now charging him interest on the money he tried returning and is withholding his 2025 tax refund.

"I've tried the president, governor, mayor. They don't mind asking you to vote for them, but when you need help you can't get ahold of nobody," Kirby said.

Despite trying to fix the problem, the IRS is still sending letters, demanding he pay interest on the money they accidentally sent him that he tried to return. He never spent it.

The IRS is now threatening to seize his farm if he doesn't pay the up to $4300 (and growing) interest.

Infuriating.
