Shout out to Mr. Branecky and his cow Lucy from Southwest Dairy Farmers for demonstrating the journey of milk from farm to table, the importance of dairy in a healthy diet, and the basics of agricultural science.
This was a great hands-on activity that integrated literacy, math, and STEM. It brought storytelling to life while encouraging teamwork, innovation, and critical thinking.

3rd graders were structural engineers this week. They designed and built landslide barriers. They had 3 criterias: (1) Use at least 3 different materials, (2) Sediment from the landslide must not touch the cars, (3) No debris on the road. π§π¨
