Ifni War (1957-1958). Armed conflict with Spain and France against the Moroccan Liberation Army. The conflict ended with a Franco-Spanish victory with a thousand casualties on the side of the Moroccans and only 670 in total for the French and Spanish.

Turkestan Legion. This was a volunteer formation in the Heer comprised primarily of Turkic peoples from the Soviet Union. After the war, those who were captured were extradited to the USSR and were executed as collaborators.
French volunteers of the SS. These men typically fought for the Waffen Grenadier Brigade of the SS Charlemagne of the Waffen-SS to fight on the Eastern Front. A large majority of these men were defending Berlin during the final days of the war.
The Free Arabian Legion, the name given to various units formed from Arab volunteers who fought for Germany. Despite this title there were was no unit or division given this name. Other foreign legions of this nature existed, like the Azerbaijani Legion and Free India Legion.
