@NicoleHerbst2 I’m an outpatient hem/onc nurse. We use a good 20-30 port kits/day. Each kit has 2 masks. We get 1 mask a day, patient gets one so we’ve been hoarding the extras for 2 weeks now. Our boss sends the extras to the ER every Friday.

@RuralEDPA Outpatient oncology nurse here. We’re driving forward as usual but no visitors allowed in treatment room and all patients get screened in lobby first for temp and cough.

@jkazmeyer @postsecret This. I work in healthcare and I can’t work without daycare. We live away from family and my husband is military. I NEED my daycare to stay open. Am I anxious sending my kids ? Of course. But as a nurse my patients need me more

I am a nurse in an oncology infusion clinic. My patients NEED us to stay alive. But with schools and daycare closed I’m splitting work time with DH. His work needs to let him stay home full time. This is not ok.

@OliviaHas2Moms My 4yo was recently diagnosed level 1 autism. My son is very verbal and very smart but only with an official diagnosis would our insurance cover the therapies he needs- OT, feeding, and ABA. We get comments that our son isn’t “autistic enough” when I introduce him as autistic 🙄

@running_nurse_ Gave yervoy the other day and had a complete chills/spiked fever/blood pressure tank reaction. Scary because we weren’t expecting it at all. He had it one time previously without issue and it has a super low risk of reaction.
