Imole will be re-elected come tomorrow. This is something I can take to the bank.
I have toured at least 15 cities since Monday here in Osun and I can tell you that the people of Osun have made their decision to stand by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
His simple lifestyle and leadership style are soothing to the people of Osun, and they cannot afford to go back to the dark age of APC.
From my experience so far, simplicity is the best sophistication. Truly, Adeleke has found his way into the hearts of the people of Osun.
Imole till 2030 is sacrosanct.

Today, we inaugurated the Imole Campaign Council, consisting of 52 official strong members, with thousands of volunteers across the state.
This campaign season, starting from door to door, site to site, social media pages, markets and businesses, the message is simple โ continuity.
No false hope. Four years of verifiable work, love, and sacrifice for our people โ laid bare for all to see.
We didnโt just promise. We delivered. Every project. Every kobo. The new Osun is our evidence.

ACCORD OYO STATE HOLDS STATE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING, APPROVES GUIDELINES AND TIMETABLE FOR 2027 PRIMARY ELECTIONS
After extensive deliberations, the following resolutions were unanimously adopted. https://t.co/HSkpVIUSxM
Akinyele just set the tone. While others wrestle with confusion, ACCORD is building structure and momentum. Todayโs inauguration reflects a people-driven movement, powered by trust and readiness for real progress.
To our supporters, this is your mandate in motion.
We are proud of the values you representโintegrity, compassion, grassroots connection, and the determination to build a better Oyo State for everyone. Your dedication to humanity and community development continues to inspire a growing movement of who believe in a just society.
Why are you blaming GSM sef? Is there anything bad in leaving PDP the way he met it?
Sheybi PDP was dead prior to 2019 and he is leaving it dead in 2026.
Allow my Governor jare.
Real political relevance begins at the grassroots, where people feel the impact of leadership daily. When the masses identify with a movement, it becomes unstoppable. No elite endorsement can replace the legitimacy that comes from ordinary people. #OyoNpe
Grassroots power is not measured by how much money is spent, but by how many hearts are touched. When people show up without inducement, it means they believe in the vision..
#OyoNpe
It is therefore surprising that the same police command found it convenient to deploy its officers to such a Gestapo gathering called by these unscrupulous elements in our society in the dead of the night .
We are hearing that the person being used for this heinous purpose is a legal practitioner. That to us will make our job easy, as our party will stop at nothing but to report him to appropriate authorities including the LPDC.
We therefore make bold to state that any institution or authority that accords recognition, protection, or legitimacy to such impostors or their activities does so at its own legal peril, as the Accord will promptly and decisively invoke necessary judicial intervention to protect its constitutional rights, internal democracy, and the sanctity of the ballot.
For the final time and for the sake of emphasis, by virtue of the valid primary election lawfully conducted on Wednesday, 10th December 2025, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is the sole and legally recognised governorship candidate of the Accord in Osun State.
No parallel structure, no impersonator, and no contrived spectacle can alter legal reality.
The Accord remains united, vigilant, and fully prepared to work with the people of Osun State for a renewed mandate for our dear Governor, His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke through lawful and constitutional means.
Thank you, and God bless Osun State.
Signed
Pastor Babalola Akande
Osun State Accord Chairman.
PRESS CONFERENCE BY THE OSUN STATE CHAIRMAN OF THE ACCORD, PASTOR BABALOLA AKANDE TODAY,14TH DECEMBER, 2025
CLARIFICATION ON THE PURPORTED GOVERNORSHIP CONGRESS ILLEGALLY HELD IN THE NAME OF ACCORD AND JOKE OF ELECTORAL SABOTAGE IN OSUN STATE
Gentlemen of the press, distinguished members of the public,
I have convened this press conference to decisively address the reckless misinformation and unlawful political charade being orchestrated by some persons unknown to our party, the Accord in Osun State, who have been falsely parading themselves as members of the Accord and claiming to have conducted a purported governorship primary in Osun State.
Let it be stated clearly, categorically, and without equivocation that all the actors being named in the end-year comedy, including one Mr Fanibe and Clement Bamgbola are not known members of the Accord. Fanibe, for instance has since been expelled from the party since 2018 for fraud and other acts inimical to the unity, discipline, and progress of the party. Such a character or any other in his shoes therefore possesses no authority whatsoever; moral, political, or legal, to convene, announce, or participate in any activity conducted in the name of the Accord.
The Accord is not disturbed by this crude impersonation and political mischief. However, the public must know those being propped for this affront on our democracy are known APC affiliates acting as proxies in a desperate scheme targeted at undermining the overwhelming popularity and lawful candidacy of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the peopleโs Governor.
Let me state with absolute finality that Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is the duly nominated and lawful governorship candidate of the Accord in Osun State. This position is incontestable, irreversible, and firmly grounded in law, having emerged through due process in accordance with the Constitution of the Accord, the Electoral Act 2022, and established judicial precedents.
The good people of Osun State are therefore urged to ignore these distractions, which are the handiwork of politically displaced actors who, having been repeatedly rejected by the electorate, now resort to impersonation, falsehood, and institutional sabotage in a futile bid to return to power through the back door.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Accord hereby issues a formal and stern warning to all concerned:
Under the Electoral Act 2022, only recognised political parties acting through their duly constituted organs can lawfully conduct congresses or primary elections, after giving proper notice to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Any โprimaryโ conducted outside this framework is illegal, null, void, and of no legal consequence whatsoever.
Also, any individual parading himself as a candidate of the Accord without lawful nomination commits a clear act of impersonation and electoral fraud, which is actionable both under the Electoral Act 2022 and relevant provisions of the Criminal Code and Penal laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Accord hereby puts INEC, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, and all other security agencies on notice that any gathering, congress, or primary purportedly conducted in the name of the Accord outside the officially recognised party structure constitutes an illegal assembly and an abuse of the electoral process.
We reckon that aiding such assembly too with security cover, especially the officers of the Nigerian Police is also tantamount to willful mutiny against the established laws of the land.
As a matter of fact, we are alarmed by the conduct of Osun State Command of the Nigerian Police, who disguisedly declined to receive a notice dispatched to security agencies over this illegality, citing the fact that the Commissioner of Police was not on his seat. However, the same letter was dispatched to other heads of security agencies including the DSS and NSCDC.
The Osun State Chairman of the Accord Party, Pastor Victor Akande, appeared this afternoon as a guest on Fresh FM.
He explained that several political parties showed strong interest in @AAdeleke_01, and detailed how Accord, through due consultation with both the National Working Committee (NWC) and the South-West Coordinating structures, successfully welcomed the Governor into the party.
He further clarified that neither the State nor the National Working Committee of Accord has any knowledge of the so-called primary election conducted today by some individuals.
Accord remains united and focused. The re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke remains the partyโs top priority.
PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
12/12/2025
OFFICIAL REBUTTAL FROM THE STATE PUBLICITY SECRETARY, ACCORD OYO STATE
On Attempts by Other Parties to Exploit Fake Crisis Narratives
Our attention has once again been drawn to the mischievous attempts by opposition elements to cite a non-existent โcrisisโ in Accord as a way of distracting the public from their own failures. For the avoidance of doubt, there is no leadership crisis whatsoever in Accordโnationally or in any State of the Federation.
The so-called crisis being circulated is the handiwork of a few individuals acting outside the structures, constitution, and recognised organs of our party. Their activities have been repeatedly disowned and dismissed by the authentic leadership. These individuals have no mandate, no authority, and no legitimacy within Accord. Their stage-managed gatherings were political theatre aimed at misleading the public.
Worse still, the purported crisis is now being peddled and amplified by opposition parties whose only intention is to divert public attention from the real issues confronting their party. Their aim is clearโto derail Accordโs growing influence and weaken the rising political momentum across the country but their strategy has already failed.
THE FACTS ARE SIMPLE AND IRREFUTABLE
โข Barr. Maxwell Mgbudem remains the duly recognised National Chairman of Accord, as affirmed by INEC.
โข Accordโs national and state structures remain intact, united, and functional.
WHY OTHER PARTIES ARE PANICKING
Other parties are increasingly threatened by the rapid growth and new energy within Accord, especially here in Oyo State and Osun State. Several developments have unsettled them:
โข Governor Adelekeโs recent defection, which has reshaped political calculations across the Southwest, has further exposed Accord as the only viable and responsible alternative party capable of commanding broad democratic appeal.
โข Accordโs expanding grassroots acceptability, rising membership, and strong community structures are giving the electorate renewed confidence in our party as the credible platform for governance.
โข Our internal reorganization and disciplined leadership have strengthened our political machinery in ways the opposition cannot match.
It is therefore unsurprising that opponents are creating imaginary conflicts, hoping to distract rising leaders. But let it be clearly stated:
Governor Adeleke is too busy serving his people and realigning politically to be distracted by fake crisis narratives pushed by desperate opponents.
Unable to compete with our momentum, these clueless parties have resorted to propaganda, fear-mongering, and recycled misinformation as their only strategy for survival.
OUR RESPONSE IS CLEAR
We will not be distracted. We will not allow failed political actors to define our narrative. We will not lose focus on our mission to offer our supporters and all Nigerians a credible and people-centered alternative.
Accord is stable, cohesive, and forward-looking. Our members remain united behind a shared vision of service, integrity, and development.
OUR CHALLENGE TO OTHER PARTIES
Instead of hiding behind cheap propaganda, they should:
โข Defend their poor performance
โข Explain their lack of developmental ideas
โข Justify why the people should trust them again
โข Tell us why the masses continue to be marginalized
Accord is busy building solutions, not spreading confusion.
FINALLY
We urge the public to ignore any attempt to recycle false crisis narratives. These are acts of desperation by political jobbers who have lost relevance both within Accord and in the wider political space.
Accord remains one house, one family, and one unstoppable movementโready to lead responsibly.
Signed:
BADRU, Idris Oriyomi
State Publicity Secretary, Accord Oyo State
