Goodness, I have had so much care and understanding for daughters that I know their mothers did not love. People always assume that mother = always looking out for your best interest. Sometimes I wish these women were just honest to their daughters and would tell them they don’t love or care for them like they should. Instead of giving so much mixed messaging that makes the daughter constantly work for their affection or bend backwards for the mom and family by extension. It’ll never be enough. I almost want to tell them to always do the opposite of what their mother advises, not out of spite or rebellion. But to try to break the spell their unloving mothers have on them. Unfortunately, it’s not my place to do that, even if they literally ask me what they should do in certain situations sometimes.

Braun is the type of defender that works really well against a team like Boston - where he is switchable on Jaylen and even Jayson (he looks better defending bigger and slower guards/wings). For keeping up with shiftier, sometimes smaller and faster guards (like Shai or Steph Curry), it’s a more difficult proposition. He can’t “get skinny” moving through screens like KCP could when he was in Denver. Davion and Andrew’s defensive skillset is different in this regard.

@hvnathletics @SleeperNuggets Mans was a fast break demon 2 years ago which helped make up for what he was lacking. Seems the ankle injury took the wind out his sails. He needs to get back to that at least, it felt like Denver wasn’t even good in advantageous fast break situations last season
