I think it's wrong for politicians to go around naming buildings and infrastructure built with state funds after themselves.

They already take huge sums for themselves.

To describe the naming of the airport as a consensus would suggest that there was a Democratic process that the NLC is not known for.

"It was a decree that the NLC made and the people just accepted it"

It is also not correct that Nkrumah was made president for life!.

Was the existing government democratic?

Is he "Kotoka" being glorified for his role in the coup?

We shouldn't automatically be willing to glorify our democratic leaders automatically with naming. We should be able to interrogate their rules.

The 1992 constitution as it is now doesn't endorse Coups and Coup makers irrespective of the goals or intent.
