Funds officially moved from YieldCore into YieldCore2
New allocation and weighting below
25% $VHYL
25% $IEUX
15% $GLDV
15% $VFEM
10% $WSML
10% $IWFQ
One deliberate addition this time around whcih is the addition of $WSML for some small cap exposure. Historically small cap has outperformed large cap over long time horizons and with a 20+ year runway it felt like the right factor tilt to add.
Backtested AAR over 5 years comes in at 10.12% with this allocation and am happy with that as a starting point.
What do you think of the new allocation?
Good morning, we made it to Friday!
Goldman reckons SpaceX AI revenue hits $322bn by 2030. Up from $3.2bn last year, so 100x in five years!
$SPCX lists 12th June, is this our chance for generational wealth? Anyone buying into the IPO?

32% of my ISA is in cash, which is a position but it’s also the most boring one I own, and not in the good way.
Circling $MDT but Nothing else is making the case.
Pitch me a stock, boring compounders welcome.
I do love X sometimes, you’d think the apocalypse was upon us. Calm down paldini, you’re down £26 and it’s the first time in the red for 9 weeks!
What are people buying though?
@Anthonylexton I don’t ever invest in individual stocks, I stick to ETF’s.
Yeah, it might go up more, I bought at $92.47 after watching for 2 months. Only a small position in the grand scheme of things but discipline is very important to me
Sold $NOW today. +£223.53 banked, ~45% return.
Im not a trader, I set a 25% target, it blew past that, so I’m out. Might keep climbing without me and that’s fine.
Profit beat my expectations either way.
Small position, did its job and rotating into my next pick this week.
@SpeedBHHD Everyone is on their own journey, brother. There is no one size fits all.
Single stocks aren’t bad, neither are ETF’s, it just depends on your time horizon, risk appetite etc.
I have 20 years until my retirement, I need to balance assets in pension, ISA, cash, house et.
@AH94RAR $NOW could well go to the moon, I’m not a trading by any means. So when something hits 45% profit, exceeding what I set out by 20%, then that’s a win in my eyes.
I’m sure the $NOW bros will come for me 😂
@AH94RAR This was my first individual stock buy and I sent a profit target of 25%, it shot past this to 45%. It may well go up much more but I wanted to stay disciplined on this
@steady_profits Thanks, James.
I am very much the boring ETF investor, this was my first individual stock purchase and am v happy with the result. It surpassed my expectations and so quickly aswell!
@SpeedBHHD Woulda, coulda, shoulda, son. Maybe $NOW carries on, maybe it doesn’t.
I’m not interested in trading, I don’t have the time, I’ll rotate into a stock or most likely an ETF.
$MDT Medtronic, the medical device giant I've been circling for a while.
$73.98, near multi-year lows.
P/E 20.7
EV/EBITDA 12.2x
FCF yield 4.29%
14% below 200WMA (7 weeks running)
Cheap on cash flow, but earnings drop tomorrow.
No sense buying the day before a print that could swing it. I'll see the number first.
