Started going to that coffee shop daily. Watching that manager build a culture. Kindness. Support. Respect. Employees stayed. Smiled. Cared. Because someone cared about them first.
That kid is still there. Three years later. Shift manager now. Training new employees. Teaching them the same thing. “Mistakes are okay. Abuse isn’t. We protect each other here.”
