After I counted the number of my reviewing activities (40) for scientific journals in 2025, I decided to write my suggestions about the peer review system in academic publishing.
1️⃣ There should be a mechanism that evaluate the quality of reports of reviewers and editors,
6️⃣ Journals should develop instructions to eliminate non-standardized editorial decisions and reviewer reports,
7️⃣ Similarity and AI check should be done by editorial office staff prior passing manuscripts to editors.
