@DestinyTheGame Thank you for all the adventures with Destiny 2 across the stars. Truly one of my favorite gaming expreiences of my lifetime.
"new direction for Bungie" and "we will begin with incubating our next games" - my copium is telling me Destiny 3 please, but I'm not filled with hope.
“I’m saying fuck Brian Thompson. I don’t give a flying fuck he died,” says Ashley Rojas, wearing her press badge provided by @NYCMayorsOffice. Lena Weissbrot adds that Thompson’s teenage sons “are better off without him” and should “enjoy the blood money.”
Briahna Joy Gray: "I know many, you know, people on the left who would happily vote for Tucker Carlson before AOC.
I am frustrated by that dynamic because I, you know, I don't want Tucker Carlson to be President, I also can't see myself damaging my own credibility by telling someone to vote for AOC."
I am sympathetic to all of these criticisms. "What is the shortest political message that gets angry people who don't follow politics to vote for you?" is indeed one way to engage w/ political debates.
But it's not the only way to engage. "What is actually true about the world?" is another question you can ask. "What policy interventions have been proven to produce better results in the long run?" is another question.
If you force every policy issue through the eye of the needle of "must come up with 5-word political message for angry people," you're liable to end up with a bunch of wrong and bad ideas about the world that just happened to pass an arbitrary test and doesn't set you up to do Actual Good Things *in the event that you actually get elected*. Which is, at least, half the point of politics!
not it. this little loop y'all got where ya build a player up, tear them down quick, want them to be traded for more players where you'll end up doing the same thing can't be a fun way to watch hoops. free yourself from basketball hell
