Orcas pulled up and surfed right alongside them.
At Sunset Beach in Port Waikato, New Zealand, a pod of orcas joined two surfers in the lineup and rode the same waves just a few feet away. One guy ducked under a wave and came up face to face with a dorsal fin bigger than he was.
They weren’t hunting anyone. They were just checking out something new in the water.
There’s no record of a wild orca ever killing a human. Still doesn’t make it any less unnerving to look up and see one that close.
Would you have kept surfing or paddled in?

El dólar de arena (también llamado galleta de mar) es un tipo de equinodermo plano, pariente de los erizos y las estrellas de mar. No es una concha, sino el esqueleto calcáreo de un animal marino
