Really taking the time to celebrate the small achievements these kindergartners are making. They’re adapting alongside me with this virtual school and they’re doing their best and that is a victory of itself.
In the middle of MP2 I had a K student switch to remote. I knew her from in person and knew she didn’t talk much because she is extremely shy. Today after being in our class for about 2 months she raised her hand to answer a math question for the first time. I could have cried.

Said goodbye to my class one last time yesterday. So sad this year is over, but excited to start my first teaching position teaching 1st grade for WCASD ESY summer program. ☀️
Last day of school and I’m so extremely grateful to have been a part of the @GlenAcresES team. This past year in 2nd grade and K-1 LS was nothing short of amazing. I’ll miss my tiny humans and mentors like crazy. What an amazing experience this year was.
