I am a hunt saboteur, monitor and undercover investigator. I set up the Animal Cruelty Investigation Group in 1989. I wrote Outfoxed Take Two and Outfoxed Again
Typical hunt meet - hunt supporters throwing punches at those who try to save lives! Support your local sabs - they put themselves in harms way to protect our wildlife. https://t.co/2I381XLpH2
This photograph seems particularly relevant today. I took it in Afghanistan on May 23rd 1980, when the West was supporting the Mujahideen. So much suffering, death and destruction over so many years. So sad.
Here an image for World Day for Animals in Laboratories. I was a SEALL photographer when I photographed this Old English Sheepdog in the research facility of the Royal College of Surgeons in Kent on August 26th 1984. Pictures such as this have haunted me for decades.
Many moons ago Sue and I spent the first week of our honeymoon in a beautiful Landmark Trust property on the Sandringham Estate. Whilst there we encountered this celebration of Royal dominance over the animal kingdom.
Primate in a Portuguese Prison. We get but one go at life on this earth. To spend the entirety of it in misery and suffering for the greed and callousness of man is a crime the full measure of which will one day be recognised.
The most significant thing about this picture of the Kent and Sussex Minkhounds was the date I took it - 30 years ago today! They start early folks. If you see or hear anything suspicious please call the HSA tip off number: 07443-148426. Our wildlife will thank you.
The hunting of a hunter. Pity that they did not set a condition of his bail that he should have no contact with any hunt or Huntsman until his trial. https://t.co/hRlwxaatEO
Another cat killed by hounds. Another owner left distraught at the loss of their beloved pet. Usually after these incidents hunts throw up a smokescreen of lies but here a courageous neighbour proves the truth with his camera. Time to end this cruelty. https://t.co/fDua1HxJLZ
A supporter has just sent me this for our AWIS archive. It is from 2003. We were warned. A drastic change in our behaviour towards those we share this planet with is highly recommended - for our sake as well as theirs.
Mark Hankinson, Director of the Masters of Foxhounds Association has been charged under Section 44 of the Serious Crimes Act 2007 following the Webinars expose. Well done the Hunt Saboteurs Association for this brilliant intelligence coup. https://t.co/NYU9ngXWM6
Want to know what Animal Rights means? Take a look at this photograph I took at Southam Zoo on June 7th 1984. Seeing the wrongs may help you understand.
I photographed this bear at Chester zoo on August 14th 1971. He waited for his lock down to end. And waited and waited. He died waiting. Evolution made a fatal error giving us dominance over our fellow species.
I took this photo at Southam Zoo on June 7th 1984. This Warwickshire zoo opened in 1966 and closed in 1985. In 1980 the zoo made the news with a chimpanzee they named Muhammad Ali and encouraged to chain smoke. He was photographed with a cigar. (Google: Southam chimpanzee smoke).
Some Animal Rights history. My photo shows protest placards outside Bicester Magistrates Court on Wednesday November 27th 1974. We were there for the committal proceedings of three Band of Mercy activists. For further details see The Animalsโ Freedom Fighter or Outfoxed Take Two.
My photograph of giant panda Chi-Chi in London Zoo in 1965. Seeing her as an exhibit, alone, sad and frustrated made me think about our relationship with animals. In May 1955 Chi-Chi was just a few months old when caught in the wild and jailed for life. She died July 22nd 1972.
Spalpeen hunt supporter spotted at joint meet of West Norfolk Foxhounds and Dunston Harriers at Bylaugh Hall west of Norwich, 12.12.20. Hunt saboteurs protecting our wildlife sent the hunts home in just over an hour. Support your local sabs - they save lives!
