I was nervous about having a judicial investiture — but it ended up being one of the most meaningful nights of my life. My grandma held the Chumash. Justice Zahra administered the oath. My parents robed me. And my dad clapped like I’d hit a buzzer-beater.
@EWess92 Everyone's focused on the substance (and whether it was written by AI), but I'm still stuck on it looking like it was written on a typewriter. Courier? In 2026?
Disappointed to hear that the USGA no longer gives medals to the winners of US Open local qualifiers (like my good friend @jimmydales8). I would dissent from that decision!
Disgusted by the front page of the @detroitnews
First, this man attempted a terrorist attack on a synagogue and NURSERY SCHOOL. NOTHING justifies that conduct.
Second, I’m seeing reports, including CBS News, that the perpetrator’s brothers were in Hezbollah, the terrorist organization firing rockets indiscriminately at civilians in Israel. That seems relevant if you are going to focus on this story.
Third, I cannot stand the media’s tendency to humanize the people who commit these atrocities. I felt the same way watching the coverage of the Boston Marathon bomber while I was in college in Boston. That attention only inspires more attacks from losers and loners. Stop giving them notoriety.
Nothing that happened overseas or in this man’s life will ever justify attempting a terrorist attack ON A PRESCHOOL.
Shame on the Detroit News. This kind of coverage puts Jews at risk.
Seeing a player born on the same day as me pass his prime makes me feel very old.
I may need to give up on my dreams of becoming a professional athlete and find something else to do
