How am I just now noticing that Lord Walder said “mayhaps” when affirming guest right to Robb & company? @GRRMspeaking 👏👏👏👏

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@NoContextHumans Jobs & money.

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@GRRMspeaking Last week I adopted a new black kitten (stray). Of course I named him Balerion!

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@Jacqueline_C__ Dang, yeah, I would’ve thought that would come at least 2 or 3 episodes in. Hopefully it’s pulled off as to not seem rushed.

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

Randomly, James McAvoy playing Aegon the Conquerer popped into my mind and I think that’s just how I’m going to imagine Aegon the Conquerer now. #asoiaf

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

Just noticed on a @HouseofDragon rewatched, there’s an insert of Rhaenyra pouring red wine as Viserys is saying: “Ser Ryam….” Nice easter🥚! @GregYaitanes @ryancondal @GRRMspeaking and whoever else was involved that’s not on X.

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@AltSchwiftX The Jamie & Cersei secret Targs theory I used to dismiss as readily as all “theories” that seem made for the sake of drumming up theories (or fan-fic self-confused for a “fan-theory”). But has started to grow on me. I’m not a full convert, but it’s become more intriguing to me.

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@theedgeknight Mel: I’ve seen him in the flames, he’s surrounded by empty heads.
Jon: You mean skulls?
Mel: Sure. We’ll go with that.

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@Trippyshite @IDEASOFICE_FIRE With so much of the story taking place in the mind, I’m STILL applauding how amazingly translated from literature to visual the film was. I just hope they keep that momentum no matter which choices they make for the next installments.

@Trippyshite @IDEASOFICE_FIRE

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@IDEASOFICE_FIRE Oops, initially I thought you were reporting on an actual announcement that they were (doing a CG Alia). But after rereading, I see I misunderstood. My mistake!

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@IDEASOFICE_FIRE … will get it right. There’s also the fact that one of the main criticisms of CG characters tends to be “uncanny valley”, but a degree of uncanny valley is precisely what they’re going for. So I’ll be willfully optimistic for now, but also sagely prepare for disappointment. 😅

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@IDEASOFICE_FIRE … of the story (in a visual medium). Fully CG character I suppose could pull off the same thing, but yeah, definitely a worrisome prospect. If nothing else, because fully CG characters have been disappointed audiences in the past. Still, I’ll remain hopeful that Denis & team…

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@GRRMspeaking Alright, so I guess I’ll just go ahead and make it a quest to keep reposting this.

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@LearnedHandsPod Or the Windproud controlled by the cheap whims of Aerys II.

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@LearnedHandsPod This gives me Bran warging Hodor vibes

[Jaehaerys the Acolyte @AcolyteJae]

@GRRMspeaking Shining a little Phial of Galadriel in this thread to express that you and your work are very much cherished and appreciated! May this post be a light in a dark thread, when all other lights go out.
