This time a fortnight ago, we were gathering with comrades at ACORN's annual members convention!

From workshops on movement building and idea sharing with people up and down Britain, to planning our - now launched - campaign on banning bailiffs. Time to get organising!

This morning, ACORN launched it's new UK-wide campaign for a Bailiff Free Britain!
As council tax debt spirals, private bailiffs circle to cash in. We're fighting to stop them.

Last week we took action against our old friends Martin & Co in defence of a member facing huge mould and disrepair issues that have had huge consequences on their physical and mental health. The case is ongoing; find a more detailed update on instagram.

We were EXTERMINATing dehumanising debt collection practices at Saturday's Penryn town fair! Lots of conversations about our 'Boot the Bailiffs' campaign & signatures for our petition. Great to spread awareness of our work; Just need to work out get better at winning raffles!
