Last night I was arrested by Nigerian Police after an unlawful stop & search at an illegal checkpoint. I was detained at Adeniji Central Police Station with no charge

Today I have tried to follow due process by reporting this to the Complaints Response Unit & British Embassy lol

@Giftama_ I feel physically sick!! My heart hurts #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria

[Precious🌹 @Acoustic_Rose]

4 months on and we are still here?! If the Nigerian government used the same energy they use in SILENCING the masses to BETTER the country our people would not be protesting!! #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria #OccupyLekkiTollGate #IAMTIRED

[Precious🌹 @Acoustic_Rose]

Fundamental human rights mean NOTHING in Nigeria. It is heartbreakingly frustrating that my people cannot protest in peace!! 😣 #OccupyLekkiTollGate #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria #EndSARS

[iexclusivenews @iexclusivenews]

Nigerian Police and Lagos government should know that bbc news is broadcasting what is happening in Lekki Tollgate live through Facebook #OccupyLekkiTollGate #EndSARS

This has bothered me for a long time, but I've never spoken about it: In my career I've managed around 20 people or so at various times. Two of those people were Black.

I cannot tell you how different my supervisors were toward me about how I managed the Black direct reports.
