We must avoid using the term "wood burners" when reporting on emissions from domestic combustion. This umbrella term is misleading & conflates the different types of wood burning appliances in use. Modern, Ecodesign compliant stoves make up just 1.3% of total UK PM2.5 emissions.

@MumsForLungs The distinction needs to be made between open fires & Ecodesign stoves. Ecodesign stoves account for just 1.2% of total UK PM2.5 emissions, that's less than 1/10th of road transport.
