We would like to make note of two donations missed in our seeding post! Thank you to Richardson Pioneer in Shoal Lake for custom treating our wheat seed and thank you to ATP for donating PreCede which was applied to the seed.
Our 2026 season is underway! Thank to Brody Robinson of Black Diamond Farms for generously donating the application of anhydrous for our field.
We also had various local producers make contributions towards our fertilizer costs, this option is still available through Redferns.
We would like to announce an exciting collaboration between Acres for Hamiota, Hamiota Community Foundation, and Hamiota District Health Foundation. We have donated $2,500 each to STARS to go toward the purchase of a portable ventilator to be used in various modes of transport.

The Acres for Hamiota board attended the 40th annual volunteer awards in Winnipeg this evening. We were honoured to receive the Association of Manitoba Municipalities Community Leadership Award, thank you to mayor Randy Lints for the nomination.
