@jab_yt Nope. Putting God of War in the title is intentional because it's a marketing ploy to get more people to buy the game. I guarantee Sony didn't feel confident on Laufey standing on her own without mentioning that she's the wife of the God of War we know.

@Stonyrocky65 @voiddmp4 My guy. Atreus' gameplay sections in Ragnarok were equally as hated. lol. God of War has been around since 2005. It's always centered around Kratos and there is an established base of players that only want to play as Kratos. Of course you're gonna see people hate this.

Imagine a new Tomb Raider entry, but instead of playing as Lara Croft, you got Larry Croftman. It's not hard to understand why opinions on this are mixed.

@CaptainCabinetz @kkidization That all depends on how well this sells. If Sony sees non Kratos centric GOW games making less and less money, they aren't gonna pivot to them anymore. There are still many players out there that would rather play as Kratos and only Kratos in GOW.
