As temperatures soar, Acted has established a Heatwave Relief and Awareness Camp in Jacobabad, Sindh, to help the community stay safe and combat the heat in this scorching weather.
Acted in collaboration with @StartNetwork has successfully implemented the "Start Ready Risk Pool 2: Pakistan Drought 2024" in District Sanghar, Sindh in which Acted has played a pivotal role in building the capacity of communities to effectively combat droughts.
A delegation from @UNICEF_Pakistan and @USAIDSavesLives recently visited project intervention sites in district Jacobabad, Sindh, under the Climate Resilient WASH Flood Emergency Response initiative & witnessed best practices implemented & actively engaged with local communities.
Acted, in collaboration with @USAIDSavesLives has successfully constructed shelters for flood-affected communities in Sindh and Balochistan. These shelters are the symbols of hope and resilience for communities facing adversity. By linking them with Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
Acted, along with the national and international stakeholders, gathered to attend a workshop on 2 May, organized by the National DRR Technical WG which was centered on strategies for climate change mitigation in Pakistan with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and action.
π’Acted hosted the AAP/CE Working Group Strategic Planning Workshop 2024 on 15th February at the Acted country office, Islamabad. The workshop aimed to evaluate the progress of the AAP-CE Action Plan 2023, discuss best practices, identify gaps, and set new objectives for 2024.
