#Ojalá continues to grow online, with more than 26000 lessons completed in 3 months. Meanwhile, #TheNest registered many new families and hosted a special visit from a famous singer!

This week we attended the first Transnational Partners Meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden, for the project “#MentorMe - Mobility Mentors for #refugees in Europe”.

The project will create a #European #support #network that fosters cross-border #volunteering for young refugees.

Amidst the #summer heat and #Greek #school #holidays, #TheNest recorded the highest number of attendances in five months.

Meanwhile, ¡#Ojalá! continues to grow online. New users continue to download the #app and complete thousands of #lessons.

We are proud to announce our collaboration with @ProfedeELE!
They will share ¡#Ojalá!’s content to #Spanish teachers so they can teach #students without #literacy skills more easily.

Our #spanish learning #app, ¡Ojalá!, has been downloaded by more than a 1000 users since it became available just a few months ago. In #Athens, The Nest registered new #refugee and #asylumseeking families and #children

Last week, we attended the #SchoolsForAll conference in #Athens, to discuss the integration of #refugee #children in Greek #schools.
It was a great experience listening and talking to #educators who have invested their time and energy in this during the past 3 years.

Last week was #WorldRefugeeWeek. Our team took it as an opportunity to highlight issues with access to #education for #asylum seekers and #refugees in #Greece, to discuss AFE’s actions to address them, and the benefits of access to non-formal education.
