We cannot even get a phone call conversation with the BDS however they are quite happy to keep proving us right and putting the interests of "hunters" above that of deer.

DISTRESSING. This can and does happen here in the UK with our remaining 3 staghound packs. If a gun isn't nearby they will sick a knife in. If they think no one can see them, they will use more than 2 dogs. They have no qualms about going into your garden to get their kill.

It seems that there is no respite for wildlife. Now, concerns have been raised about the welfare of wild deer that graze on a site approved for 140 homes.

When we will stop seeing wildlife as a hinderence and treating them with contempt.

1/2 With @NDHuntSabs we attended the Quantocks today to attempt to monitor the hind hunting activity. Unfortunately, we were not able to intervene and believe that 2 hinds were probably chased and shot. (1/2)

@YahooNews have reported on a dog killing a small deer in a London park. Rightly so there has been public outcry about this incident.
However, this is an almost daily occurrence in the Southwest of England.

@BritishDeerSoc and @UKLabour are yet to take action against this blatant illegal activity. The Hunting Act 2004 is not fit for purpose, the only way we can protect our wildlife is to have a full ban, despite all the recurring evidence why the lack of urgency?
