10/ The Studios of course, aren’t allies here either.

Apparently the Studios refused to wait for ethical models. The Studios also insisted on the models being considered as “tools”, as defined in this section of the contract. This potentially positions -

11/ the Studios to potentially gain copyright outputs from unethical GenAi foundational models. Models that artists like myself are suing for exploitative & unfair practices.

This is what the Studios themselves claim they want, commentary sent to the US Copyright Office!
