#WelcomeToTheJungle has emerged as a SUCCESS as the weekend trajectory was v good. 1st weekend numbers are Rs 65.83 crore net in India. Worldwide gross is 94.63 crore. #AkshayKumar, terrific supporting cast & brainrot humour are being loved by the family audiences. Rajasthan and Delhi/UP are its strongest circuits.

#Cocktail2 stands at Rs 72 crore net in India after 10 days and these numbers include some FEEDING by @MaddockFilms. This @shahidkapoor movie has done decently ONLY in 5 big cities but mass centres are DULL. Overall, a LOSS-MAKING project. BELOW AVERAGE.

#MainVaapasAaunga is ROCK-SOLID as 3rd weekend collections are HIGHER than the entire 1st week. This #ImtiazAli movie has netted Rs 45 crore so far and will continue to run for the next 3 weeks. It's a SUPERHIT in East Punjab, Mysore and Delhi/NCR regions.

Here's my BLUNT take on 4-way clash during the August 26-28 period.

Clearly, out of these 4 films, #Toxic will take the BEST initial across India due to its mass-appealing content & stardom of @TheNameIsYash. Some people are trying to pull down @Toxic_themovie on social media but this will NOT have any impact on the box-office perormmace at all.

Secondly, if the trailer clicks & @balajimotionpic markets the film smartly, #Vvan is a VERY promising subject. A slick horror film rooted in Indian history is a CRACKER. This film can turn out to be game-changer for #SidharthMalhotra. But the awareness about the project must START now. Full-blown promotions can happen later.

#ShraddhaKapoor is a superb actor and I've no doubt that she would MESMERIZE the audiences with her act in #Eetha. But the subject will have limited appeal outside Maharashtra. Also, since it's a female-centric movie, it needs a SOLO release to fulfill its box-office potential. @MaddockFilms should really think of AVOIDING this clash for its own benefit. This @ShraddhaKapoor film stands to LOSE the MOST if it locks horns with #ToxicTheMovie & #VvanForceOfTheForrest.

Lastly, #KhoslaKaGhosla2 will surely move away from this clash. It's a sequel of a cult movie but since the treatment is niche, it would find it hard to get optimal screens if it doesn't move away from August 28, 2026.

As I CLEARLY said, there is NOTHING wrong in commissioning articles to promote a movie. This has become a NORM which even the smallest movies follow.

I just said, @aliaa08's "close" fans shouldn't allude that her fellow actors are using their PR to sabotage #Alpha. Because neither @deepikapadukone nor #ShraddhaKapoor are doing NOTHING dirty against #AliaBhatt and her movies.

And it's a UNANIMOUS opinion of the TRADE that the response to #AlphaTeaser is MEDIOCRE. And @yrf is responsible for this mess. Not Alia Bhatt.
