BREAKING: Seattle City Councilmembers revived a recently voted down bill that many community activists are calling War on Drugs 2.0. We spoke with Sara on her campaign trail about her experience with drugs, mushrooms, and what she hoped to accomplish while in office. The vote will happen today at 2pm in City Hall and is expected to pass 6-3. This drug criminalization policy was first championed by councilmember Sara Nelson and she will be a "yes" vote today.

The cop laughing at Jaahnavi Kandula’s killing is the VICE PRESIDENT of Seattle’s Police Officer’s Guild. His job is to literally rep every single police officer in the city. The same police department that’s been under federal oversight for the past decade. Nothing’s changed.
