Acton Park’s oldest tree - our ancient Oak - over 400 years old has woken from hibernation once again and looks magnificent - some things remain normal thankfully.

Managed to get to the park yesterday and saw my first bluebells of the year. I so miss walking among them taking in the sweet aroma.

Coronavirus outbreak - in line with government recommendations all events organized by the Friends of Acton Park are cancelled until further notice. To all our loyal volunteers and supporters - we hope to see you all again soon - in the meantime please stay safe and take care.

Year 4 are exploring @ActonParkFriend this morning as part of our Wild Wood topic. We are looking for insects and materials to create our bug hotels, searching for habitats and measuring trees! We are also collecting natural materials for our land art project! #wildwoods
