3K billionaires control $18.3 trillion, and this concentration of wealth is reshaping democracy itself. Billionaire money changes who gets heard, who decides, and who gets left behind.

@Mwawasi__ Very few people can withstand and come out sane the kind of psychological torture a nation-state, especially an authoritarian one, has at its disposal.
Political awareness complicates conversation. Once you see the landscape, nothing is ever just said. Every statement, every utterance, risks becoming controversial or misunderstood by apolitical audiences.
@LarryMadowo There is a strong possibility that Museveni has won again. So far, he has not faced a truly formidable challenger capable of resonating with Ugandans across ethnic, regional, and generational lines.
NYOTA follows basic economic logic long overdue: invest in youth, increase local spending, grow the economy, and ameliorate joblessness.
Here in Kenya and Africa, in general, money concentrated among the very wealthy circulates less and often leaves the local economy.
The world needs to know what is happening in Uganda on election day. Internet switched off. Massive ballot stuffing reported everywhere. Our leaders, including Deputy President for Western Region, arrested. Many of our polling agents and supervisors abducted, and others chased off polling stations. BVVK machines have failed everywhere. The PEOPLE OF UGANDA MUST RISE TO THE OCCASION AND REJECT THE CRIMINAL REGIME. THE WORLD MUST NEVER GIVE ANY LEGITIMACY TO THE REGIME OF BLOOD AND SHAME.

@SkyNews@Stone_SkyNews Trump probably wants to go in the history books as the one who changed the US map....just like Putin in Eastern Ukraine.
I don't know whether Denmark is ready to hand him over the territory... but.....
If he were successful, they would have to find him space on Mt. Rushmore.

The Uganda Communications Commission has said it will switch off public internet access and restrict some mobile services during Uganda’s election period. This decision comes at a tense moment, with credible reports of intimidation, arrests, violence, and the suspension of NGO permits for five organizations already emerging as the country heads to the polls on Thursday.
KHRC warns that cutting off the internet will exacerbate the situation, as it did in Kenya during the Gen Z protests in 2024 and in Tanzania during the 2025 “elections”, when serious violations by state security agencies were carried out away from public scrutiny.
KHRC demands that UCC withdraw its decision.
If UCC proceeds with the shutdown despite these concerns, KHRC urges Ugandan citizens to carefully document any cases of electoral malpractice or violence by security agencies and, at an appropriate time, share such information with independent human rights organisations to support efforts to hold those responsible to account.
@spectatorindex This autocratic regime is responsible for suppressing the rights of the ancient and noble people of Iran.
A religion that was invented a few centuries ago can not usurp the will of the people who invented modern human civilization.
