A cause for celebration!!! Moments ago, St. Albert City Council approved Active Communities’ request for $1.5 million in capital funding for the St. Albert Outdoor Recreation & Community Hub!
We are donating $150,000 to the Active Communities Alberta Society to fund the Outdoor Recreation & Community Hub in St. Albert! To celebrate the launch of the Community Spaces project, we hosted a barbecue for local schools. #CoopCommunitySpaces
Co-Op is lighting up St. Albert!!! Through its Community Spaces program, Co-Op has generously provided $150,000 towards lighting at the Outdoor Recreation & Community Hub. To celebrate this funding, Co-Op hosted a cheque presentation and BBQ for over 1,000 local students today.

“Thank You” St. Albert. Provincial sport governing bodies such as Hockey Alberta have also endorsed their support for the Active Communities innovative outdoor recreation project in St. Albert. Indoor ice quality, outdoors, is a cost-effective option for hockey in our community.
“Thank You” St. Albert. Active Communities outdoor recreation project continues to get support from the user groups in our community. The St. Albert Ringette Association (SARA) recently provided their support for the project as a way to continue to grow their quality programs.
