We (me and @ArisLavranos) are looking to connect with Canadian detransitioners who are seeking justice (especially in Ontario).
Please share widely. More info to come in the next few weeks.

🚨Hilary Cass has today said that the presentation of ‘trans children’ is ‘biological’ and compared them to people ‘predisposed to have heart disease’. There is, of course, no evidence for this.
She also used the term ‘birth registered girls’.
She is an ideologue.
NEWS: The FTC’s lawsuit against WPATH has been reassigned to Judge Reed O’Connor, who has a history of rulings that are highly sympathetic to conservative causes, such as overturning the ACA.
This move signals trouble for WPATH, at least at this stage of litigation.
My latest was on the parliamentary report that rightfully recommends against euthanasia for mental illness: "'Irremediability,' when it comes to mental illness, is purely subjective. No set of diagnostic criteria could ever delineate these suicide wishes. And make no mistake: if we allow the state to try, we will be sanctioning the deaths of untold thousands of vulnerable people.

Defenders of child transition need to answer a basic question: What evidence would change your mind?
We were told not to worry because such treatments and procedures were extremely rare.
But when new data show that these treatments aren't so rare, the same defenders suddenly change their tune: the numbers are no longer reassuring because they are small; now they are reassuring because they are large.
If the rates are low, that proves the panic is overblown.
If the rates are high, that's evidence that access is improving.
If the rates rise, that means stigma is declining.
If they don't rise enough, that means barriers remain.
Heads they win, tails you're a bigot.
At some point, defenders of pediatric gender medicine must answer a simple question: What result would change your mind?
We should have insisted on a clear answer to this question long ago, BEFORE we ever started performing these procedures on children—not AFTER the results come in, when activists have had time to devise post hoc explanations about why the latest horrific finding is actually wonderful news.
Falsifiability is a basic principle of science.
No claim that can be "confirmed" by every possible outcome can be called scientific.
This failure to adhere to basic principles of science is made even more sinister given that kids are having their puberty stunted, fertility compromised, and healthy body parts altered or removed as a result.

Cat Cattinson was prescribed testosterone after a 30-minute phone call.
She scheduled surgery but within months, severe side effects forced her to reconsider.

High quality data exists. It should be analyzed before any other research is done.
The people hindering that process are tacitly admitting what we all know/suspect, that gender affirming care in young people has catastrophic risks.
Amy Hamm @preta_6 argues that surrogacy is a net detriment to humanity, and akin to human trafficking and/or prostitution in terms of its harms. Surrogacy also erases the concept of "mother" and does not protect vulnerable infants.
Do you agree? Disagree?

Thousands of lives will be saved because we forced Liberals to back down from MAID for mental illness.
Conservative MP @TamaraJansenMP’s Bill C-218, plus the brilliant arguments by MP @MichaelCooperMP and the courageous personal story of MP @AndrewLawton, changed the debate and stopped government from telling struggling people to give up on life.
Keep the hope alive. Keep the fight alive.

That was intense. Nothing like wrestling with a moral/ethical dilemma. With very few exceptions I am an absolutist against surrogacy. Of primary importance is the safety of the child. Secondary is the well-being of the mother.
If altruism is the exception then there must be zero financial recompense. Furthermore, the adopting parents must undergo extremely strict psychological assessments prior to adoption.
