Lovely speaking in the 'A Day in the Life of a Barrister' event yesterday as an alumni @UniWestminster . It was so special attending with my husband @alidemir_lnd who I met 10 years ago there and now our baby to show how a career at the Bar and mum life is possible.
Thrilled to be ranked as a "Leading Junior" in Family: children and domestic abuse in the 2025 edition of @thelegal500. Grateful to my referees, the clients and of course @FamilyLawTeam for allowing me to do my dream job. #legal500
Officially on maternity leave now! Feels extremely surreal. Have had the kindest words of wisdom and send off from instructing solicitors. Looking forward to coming back to @FamilyLawTeam after this sweet new period in life.
🚨 BREAKING: Prime Minister Keir Starmer on the riots on Britain's streets: "I won't shy away from calling it what it is - far-right thuggery."
"If you target people because of colour of their skin or faith, then that is far-right."
Izzy @edwards_london and I wrote for the July 2024 edition of the Family Law Journal "In what circumstances is removal of parental responsibility justified and is further guidance necessary? " https://t.co/fuQADwQ3rJ @JPFamilyLaw

@FamilyLawTeam@AdBassam instructed by @IzzyRarok of Edwards Family Law, involved in a case where mother applied to revoke father’s parental responsibility. For full report please see https://t.co/IONHMxA8CY
Instructed by the amazing Maria Conesa Gonzalez of @Judge_Priestley on this interesting case where paternity contested between identical twin brothers. This judgment concerns issues concerning A's paternity and the difficulties of establishing this via DNA analysis.

A new authority: Re A [2023] EWHC 3534 (Fam) https://t.co/B7mAgr8tiT in which Francis J revoked parental responsibility from a Father pursuant to ChA 1989 s 4 (2A). I was instructed by the absolute star that is Isobel Rarok of @edwards_london.
