@TheStingisBack TV is the right play for it. Having a star-driven narrative takes away so much of what makes the book great, no matter how good a script it is.
@bobhillusa@Cam_Jourdan Problem is, what you’re describing doesn’t yield precision golf. The narrower the fairway and thicker the rough, the more the guys hitting lob wedges into greens tend to prevail.
@thwacknicklaus Interestingly, it makes what Scottie has done the last few years even more impressive to me, being able to separate with equipment where it is.
But it pains me to imagine how much more interesting the sport would be if he could truly demonstrate his superior ball-striking.
@thwacknicklaus No penalty for swinging driver as hard as possible, turning events into a wedge and putter contest. Hard to separate from other pros with wedges, and the best ball strikers can’t separate with long irons because they rarely have to hit them.
