🇮🇹🇮🇱 Italy’s PM Meloni just escalated tensions with Israel over a seized flotilla in international waters.

Italy activated its crisis unit after Israeli forces intercepted the Global Sumud Flotilla just 150 nautical miles off Crete.

Around 175 activists were detained across 22 boats, including 24 Italian citizens.

Meloni called this unlawful and demanded their immediate release, in another sign of tension between the two countries.

About 2 weeks ago, Meloni announced the suspension of Italy’s defense cooperation agreement with Israel, after 20+ years.

@ekonomigurun_ Detta har inte hänt nyligen. ISIS och HTS är 2 helt olika grejer, västerlänningar brukar inte kunna skilja mellan dem. Sunni muslimer har inga problem överhuvudtaget med kristna. De har det dock med Alawites och shia/Iran militia som gjorde värre än detta mot dem sen 1971.
