Some people still don't know about Hardware, so i'm going to talk about it.
The Grasshopper hardware node is essentially a small plug-and-play device that runs @Grass for you automatically, all day, every day.
Instead of depending on your phone or computer which can turn off, disconnect, or fluctuate in bandwidth availability, the Grasshopper stays online 24/7 through a stable Ethernet connection. It uses very little power, operates silently and is fully certified for safety.
Its purpose is to give you the most stable, consistent way to contribute bandwidth to the Grass network without needing to keep any personal device active.
Itโs also built with the future in mind. Grass has already noted that the Grasshopper may later support advanced features like data tagging or lightweight AI processing. This makes it even more capable over time.
While manufacturing timelines were delayed due to supply-chain constraint issues along with Tariffs, an update is scheduled for release within the first half of 2026.
In short, the Grasshopper is the simplest, most reliable, and most future-ready way to stay connected to the Grass ecosystem, built for you as a user to continue to contribute effortlessly while earning passively without the worry of frequent disconnects,
Another way for us to help the network continue to grow and evolve.
How much would you pay for a device like this?
If youโre new to UI/UX design, itโs very easy to get carried away by the numbers.
You come online and see people charging huge amounts for projects, or posting how much they made from design and it starts to make you feel like youโre not doing enough.
But you need to always remember something, everyone started somewhere.
Those designers you see closing big deals today didnโt just wake up there. They spent years building their skills, improving their reasoning, and understanding design deeply.
So while itโs good to market yourself and go after opportunities, donโt neglect the place of practice.
Donโt rush to sell your skill before youโve built it.
Focus on learning. Focus on understanding why designs work, not just how to make them look nice.
Because honestly, the only way to truly grow financially and career-wise in this field, is to become solid at what you do.
You can't earn $120k a year with mediocre design skills or knowledge.
So don't pressure yourself.
Build your skills and share your work, everything will fall in place for you too.
