I used to judge people for buying pre-cut fruit at the grocery store. Every time I walked past those plastic containers, I’d think, “What a waste of money. Just buy the whole watermelon and cut it yourself. It’s really not that hard.” I honestly assumed it was something people bought because they were too lazy to do the prep themselves. Then a few months ago, something changed my perspective. I was in the produce section when I saw an older woman reaching for a container of pre-sliced mango.
One thing that means a lot to me is when you take pictures or videos and send them to me. I want my gallery to be full of your photos and videos.
Also, before you post any pictures on your social media accounts, send them to me first. If you take a picture and post it on your WhatsApp status without showing me beforehand, when I see it, I probably won't comment on it; I'll simply ignore it.
I love being the first person to see your pictures and videos. I'll even tell you which ones are my favorites, and together we can choose the cutest ones to post. It's one of those little things that may seem insignificant, but it means a lot to me.
I feel a certain way when you go out, take pictures, post them online, and don't send any of them to me, expecting me to see them the same way everyone else does. I always want to have the exclusive privilege of hyping you up and complimenting you before anyone else gets the chance.
As I get older, I’m starting to realise that the purest form of love is consideration. When someone thinks about how things would make you feel. In any bond how much they care about you is found in how much they consider you.
Flogging a child because of school fees is something I would never understand, like is he supposed to pay by himself, catch the parents and flog them noww.
Healing is so wholesome! You go back to who you were before your spark disappeared, but with a little bit more. More awareness, more resilience, more grace, more peace. So, no matter what you’re going through rn, just know there’s healing to look forward to ❤️
