CORRECTING THE RECORD — ROYAL EDITION

Apparently everybody was “blindsided” again.

King Charles was supposedly blindsided by Prince Harry and Meghan Sussex’s return. William reportedly wants nothing to do with reconciliation.

Now we’re told William might even skip Christmas at Sandringham if Harry and Meghan are invited.

Yes. Fucking Christmas.

Neither palace has confirmed that. So how does the press know what William will do at a Christmas gathering that hasn’t even been confirmed?

Better question:

How is the most briefed-about family on earth constantly fucking “blindsided”?

Whenever Harry moves, anonymous sources magically tell us how Charles feels, how William feels, who’s furious, who feels betrayed and now who might skip Christmas.

WHO THE FUCK KEEPS TELLING THE PRESS ALL THIS?

And if people around William are running to the press every five minutes telling us how angry or “incandescent” he supposedly is, make them stop.

It doesn’t make William look like a future king.

It makes him look like a 17-year-old throwing a tantrum because his younger brother came back to town.

You’re the future head of state.

Grow the fuck up.

And if William isn’t behind these briefings, Kensington Palace has another problem: why are people so comfortable telling journalists what he supposedly thinks?

And then Donald Trump decided to weigh in on Harry and Meghan, and right on cue, commentators who dislike the couple jumped on his words like some fucking character reference.

Please. Mr. “Grab ’em by the pussy” himself is hardly the moral authority on anybody’s marriage.

Moving the fuck on.

And Charlotte Griffiths entered the chat.

She reported unnamed “friends” claiming Harry returned “just as angry,” is “spitting blood” at certain royals and still “expects an apology.”

Her article also suggested Harry would attend a Diana Award event on September 18, potentially with Meghan.

Their spokesperson responded: they are NOT scheduled to attend.

Then came the killer:

“Facts matter. Accuracy matters.”

And speaking of correcting the record…

The Daily Mail recently had to do exactly that.

It published claims about Harry and Meghan visiting Geri and Christian Horner, discussing a return to Britain, Harry regularly communicating with Christian and the couples becoming close friends.

The Mail later acknowledged it had “wrongly claimed” those things, removed the article and wrote:

“We have removed the article and are happy to correct the record.”

Well, welcome to the fucking club.

Because this is the problem.

Create the narrative. Report the narrative. Watch everybody repeat the narrative until it becomes something everybody supposedly “knows.”

Until somebody pushes back.

William is furious.

Charles is blindsided.

Harry is “spitting blood.”

Somebody might boycott Christmas.

Anonymous “friends” know what Harry thinks. Anonymous sources know what William thinks.

Everybody knows fucking everything.

Yet everybody keeps getting blindsided.

And finally, Rebecca English had one hell of a week.

A false post appeared on her X account saying reports were emerging that King Charles had died.

Four minutes later:

“My account has been hacked.”

English says she was hacked. Thankfully, the King is alive and well and long may that continue.

But considering this week’s theme…

Nobody was more blindsided than Charles when Twitter told him he was dead. 😂
