Charlie was a beloved husband, son, brother, friend, and father. Every court proceeding serves as a painful reminder of his death and the loss that has irrevocably impacted our lives and the lives of his children.

We remain deeply grateful for the support, prayers, and kindness we have received. This outpouring has sustained us during the darkest days of our lives.

Out of respect for the judicial process, we will not be commenting further at this time. We ask for continued privacy as we navigate this process and immense grief.

As a 15 year old girl those beautiful letters @MrsErikaKirk has shared with us written by Charlie mean a lot. Like Erika has said Charlie set the standard. Charlie showed what it meant to be a good husband. Even with everything he had on his plate he still took time and made Erika feel special and let her know he loved her. I look up to and admire their marriage. Charlie reflected the love of Christ in a way that is so rare these days. I hope and pray I find someone one day who meets the standard Charlie set. I love Erika and I look up to her as a role model. I will continue to pray for her and her family as well as the entire TPUSA staff. I will also pray for you Candace, and I don’t say that in a condescending way, I truly hope you repent and stop attacking Erika. Maybe then you will find true joy and peace.
