Antonio Daniels on his conversation with Gregg Popovich during Game 1:
“We watched the game tonight in Pop’s suite with him. I asked him tonight ‘Do you miss it?’ And he said ‘You have no idea how much. I wish I was down there right now!’” 😢❤️

Mitch Johnson didn’t mince words after Game 1.
He said the Spurs need to do a much better job of getting Victor Wembanyama into the paint and attacking the rim, emphasizing an inside-out approach offensively.
He also made it clear the ball movement wasn’t where it needed to be.
“Sixteen assists is not our brand of basketball.”
Expect adjustments in Game 2.
If Victor Wembanyama doesn't start attacking the paint like he did in this sequence, the Spurs could fall to these Knicks.
He is shooting 23% FG, settling for mostly outside shots, including going one for six from three-point range and 3/13 from the field.
Chris Paul on the Spurs:
“I’m gonna go to San Antonio for one of the games. Those guys, they my family.”
LOVE to hear this. Family. 💯
