As we observe the 50th anniversary of the Xenia #tornado, this is the first part of our documentary, “The Day the Clock Stopped: 50 Years After the Xenia Tornado.”
The entire documentary airs tonight on FOX45 at 6:30pm and it always available for free on YouTube. The link is in the thread. I’m incredibly grateful this has reached so many people and the feedback has been very humbling. Thank you 🙏
UPDATE: "That suspect then ran and jumped in the river, and Miamisburg PD was kind enough to go get him out of the river and arrest him, and he was taken to the hospital for a precautionary checking," said Franklin Police Chief Adam Colon.

Statement by President George W. Bush on Chuck Norris:
"Laura and I are saddened by Chuck Norris’s passing. He was a legend in Texas and beyond. Through his foundation and his example, he made a huge difference in the lives of young people by instilling character and discipline through martial arts. It was said that when Chuck Norris entered a room, he didn’t turn the lights on; he turned the dark off. Laura and I are fortunate to have called him a friend, and we send our sympathy to his family."
Gov. Mike DeWine (R-OH) said President Trump’s policy on removing Temporary Protected Status for Haitians “is wrong” because of how it would impact the manufacturing economy in Springfield, Ohio.
“Springfield is an industrial city, manufacturing city that was down. It has been coming back. And frankly, one of the reasons it's coming back is because of the Haitians who are working there,” he said Friday. “These are people who, if you talk to the employers, they were filling jobs that were not being able to be filled in any other way.”
James Van Der Beek was an icon in the 90s. Varsity Blues is not the legendary movie it became without his performance. He fought a courageous battle with cancer and he will be missed. Rest easy James
The #FBI and our partners are aware of recent hoax threats to schools and other facilities in Central Ohio. We urge the public to remain vigilant and report all suspicious activity to law enforcement immediately.
I am very happy for Sam Darnold. I never thought he would win a Super Bowl but he played an important role in this title and it’s impossible not to be happy for him.
The #FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. She was last seen at her residence in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood of Tucson, Arizona, on the evening of January 31, 2026: https://t.co/PmnSjk16jD
Including today, Dayton (DAY) has now spent the last 8 days at/below 18F. This is the longest such streak on record at the site. The current active streak of 6 straight days with subzero temps is tied for the 4th-longest streak on record at the site.
I just wanted to express my deepest thanks to @ODOT_SouthOhio@ODOT_Statewide and the countless other snowplow drivers out in this the last several days. I sincerely appreciate your dedication and commitment. Thank you 🙏
I’m so happy for Sam Darnold. Doubted much of his career. What a big game on a huge stage, exactly what people doubted about him. Go Seahawks!! Between Darnold and JSN I’ll be on that Seahawks bandwagon!
