@brent_giauque Once again… never read your feed.
Either way you just stood on a table for him blindly. Jalen Reagor appreciates that. And Miles Sanders. JJAW. Sidney Jones too. Agholor. Wentz. Jordan Matthews. Can keep going?
Roseman as GM: .614 win %
EDC as GM: .655 win %
@Nbrick4evr@MintyFlock You have a TE1, a pair of rookies and a TE/FB that plays 35-40% snaps on O & 50%+ on ST which Njoku doesn’t offer at all.
Prob think we should go sign Diggs and one-legged Hill then cut Tez & Wester too, right?
@GM_Daedric@Nbrick4evr@MintyFlock I expect the 4 current TEs all get rostered and 1 of Himmel or Cuevas are IA’d every game this szn til that shakes itself out.
No need for anything else. Already have camp bodies too.
@Nbrick4evr@xxboon3 The guys cut will be UDFAs maybe a late round pick, and summer vets with no GTDs.
Doyle has 2M dead cap, serves multiple roles and knows the O.
I’m more intrigued to hear why guys think Njoku- who hasn’t found a suitor yet- is some bonafide TE at this age?
@brent_giauque Ah another Roseman rider. Tell me more about those mistakes he never makes or his perfect drafts and I’ll show you his screw ups and bombed picks we hide
Smythe will be TE3/FB saves a roster spot. Knows this offense already. Drafted 2 TEs if they wanted a vet they wouldn’t have
@Nbrick4evr Two completely different skill sets. Smythe contributes on ST as well where Njoku hasn’t seen ST since he was drafted. Smythe has familiarity with Doyle’s O from last year in CHI.
Would be a 2M cap hit to cut him btw.
Dislocation with multiple ligament tears just 7 months ago (we all saw how gross it was) for a 32y/o WR.
Sprinkle in some DV history, baby mama drama, and pending lawsuits.
Now ask me why he’s a FA.
@Z1073245 2024: Hammy missed a few weeks but depth guy wasn’t gonna see the field anyway.
2025: dislocated elbow kind of a big fight to come back from. Rushed it. Backfired.
No repeat injuries. None of “CL” injuries. I’m not stressing it.
@Obafemi30@zzGodSpeed Previous scheme I agree. Under Minter & Doyle is it unchanged?
I think WR will be more of a focal point on O beyond LJ. 4/5 OL spots secured. Rather see a trade of future R4 or R5 for a starting Center at this stage.
Cant roll the dice on WR anymore than they can on Center.
@NFL_Jodi@Obafemi30@zzGodSpeed So let’s ask this:
Why would a team trade us a starting Center for Bate if they can sign one of those FA WRs that are just as effective for a similar price point?
I’m not sure that would happen unless a team thinks Bate is underutilized by BAL.
