@MHaroon_Zaman i'd just like to see their internal teams have to apply the same fee structure to itself. It doesn't make them more money to ignore it. It just shifts revenue from one hand to the other.
This is one of those things that annoys sellers. I don't hate amazon selling (similar to other house brands) but they don't follow their own rules.
$3.99 wouldn't even cover fulfillment cost of this bottle. I'd lose $2-3 per unit (before ads and referral fees). Making it incredibly hard for anyone to compete in a very large category.
@robbiehendricks We're praising people that went from influencer to raising money with egregious fees while not understanding a basic interest rate cap?
No... We simply want the system to be fair. Homeowners over 60 make up something like 1/2 of the market. And they are the richest generation in history. I do not want them shifting 1/2 the property tax burden to me. We are already paying their social security, medicare and medicaid.
They have a highly valuable asset they can borrow against or sell (unlike many young people). They don't deserve an exclusion over just their age. If I can't afford where I live then I have to move too.
It seems like bundling property tax and mortgage payments was a mistake. The average person just has no concept that these have nothing to do with each other.
So if I buy my house cash I should never pay property tax? It's incoherent.
@ThomasEWoods@ConnorMEwing if we have a tax burden and you take 1/2 the people paying it and exempt them, you have created a situation in which I am now subsidizing their use of our governmental services and my burden increases.
Calling that a subsidy is perfectly reasonable
@TheyCallMeNans You should do whatever you want. But if people can't afford the place they live and likely have zero need for that much space, then they should downsize and take the huge amount of equity they have to live on rather than shift their tax burden to the other 50% of homeowners.
@ariozick@Jack_Raines We checked our stroller at the gate then had to deboard and get a new plane for a mechanical issue. Did not get the stroller back until final destination. So a fun 2 hours stroller free in the airport.
the entire lens you apply to this would make me avoid dealing with you in any business context other than you writing me a check which barely qualifies as “doing business”. I would know if there’s issues or ambiguity you wouldn’t care about doing the right thing.
You just choose not to try to fuck people that you may want to deal with again. That’s not self sacrifice
