Finally, we’re being sensible, measured and clear in what we want to do. More, pls. 😈🙌
🚨🇧🇪 Youri Tielemans has completed his medical and signs today at Man United.
Understand the agreement will be valid until June 2031, five years.
Done and sealed.
Respectfully, Man United's job isn't to sign players that excite fans but to find ways to build a competent team that can win. United fans were excited about signing Sancho, Di Maria, etc. How did they turn out?
Matheus Cunha had a very good debut season for Manchester United… but I think the man is going to FLY next year. Going from strength to strength on every stage he steps on. 💪
I can't say I understand the complaints about Manchester United's speed in the transfer market, comparing them to Real Madrid & Tottenham.
Real Madrid have signed Silva & Konate for free, Dumfries & Cucarella. Those are not particularly difficult deals, no competition, fees are fair.
Tottenham have signed Robertson & Senesi for free & van Hecke who had a year to run on his deal. Not that different to the Ederson deal.
Arsenal haven't signed anyone. Neither have City, Liverpool or Villa. Chelsea haven't even been linked to anyone. What are we panicking about again?
Mateus Fernandes is moving & he wants to come, but is complex with the situation at West Ham, there is the interest in Lewis Hall, that's all evolving.
There's also deals that will simply have to wait until July post-World Cup, Aurelien Tchouameni is a perfect example of that. The market's gotta develop too.
It's June 18th, we don't need every detail leaked out to know something is going on - so people just need to chill a little bit.
You can talk about how incredible he is… and also admit that this is a red card.
The two aren’t mutually exclusive and I hate how any bias just blinds fans of the truth. What a performance. But this was lucky.
I’ll tell you something for free.
At the highest level of football, there are certain things you cannot fluke.
Glasner won the Europa League with Frankfurt, this was a time big teams use to drop from UCL into Europa, so he had to face teams like Barcelona on the way. Still, he won the Europa.
He came to Palace, with a small budget compared to the other English teams, he won the FA Cup, the first trophy in Palace’s history, he beat Man City to win it. You can’t fluke that, he’s a winner.
He qualified them to Europa by winning the FA Cup , but they dropped to Conference league because of the multi-club ownership saga with Textor. Despite the setback, he has just won an European trophy for a South London club.
In 2 years, he has changed a club’s history and won 3 trophies for them if we add the community shield. He did this while losing big players, lost his captain January, lost his best player to Arsenal in summer, lost Olise.
This guy is a winner.
9 goals and 21 assists.
In a campaign where he only registered his first assist in the 8th game of the season.
And was forced to play half a season at CDM.
Bruno Fernandes is inevitable. 👏🏽👑
