I often get down about how any celebrity seems to be able to stroll into a publishing deal these days. Then I remember how readable Richard Osman's books are and I feel a bit better.

@adamfgodfrey Unsettled, yes. Quite often. But not scared. Paul Tremblay has occasionally managed it, C.J. Tudor too in the Taking of Annie Thorne, but it's hard to do.
