Avoid @AmericanAir . @FedExHelp customer service should have a division that trains other companies. @SKBCases are tanks and worth the money if you're flying.

Breaking my Twitter silence to tell everyone never to fly with @AmericanAir .
Among other issues, they shipped my luggage, but it's delayed and now at the airport I flew from.
AND they still have my bass at O'Hare. I've sent screenshots of the airtag location, but still nothing.

@AmericanAir @FedExHelp The only contact with American is through their call centers, and they try to reach out to their on-the-ground operations with no responses (as per multiple AA customer service reps I've spoken to). I just need someone on the ground to actively look, not an automated response.

@AmericanAir Update: @FedExHelp immediately jumped in and not only added a support ticket, but hunted down my luggage and called me with an update.
I still just receive automated copy-and-paste responses from @AmericanAir for my bass.

@AmericanAir At least the luggage is with FedEx. My bass is still stuck at ORD with zero indication of movement.

@AmericanAir I don't know what confusion there is. The luggage stayed on our plane for 6 hours after we landed, I stayed at baggage claim for 5 hours and watched newer flights get their bags. I've supplied airtag location directly to the baggage team and still have not heard anything.

@AmericanAir I've had two reps actually help, but ultimately, I'm just being told to wait. Meanwhile, I have no clothes, toiletries, or instrument. This is all after an 8 hour delay, followed by waiting at baggage claim for 5 hours. The luggage ended up staying on the plane for another hour.
