Sinner saved by Jesus Christ, the Lord, the Son of God, God in the flesh, who died for my sin(s) and rose for my justification, all-sufficient and freely given.
MY STORY (ATTACHED)
Psa62v5-6/Rom4v25KJV, "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him. ⁶He only [is] my rock and my salvation: [he is] my defence; I shall not be moved. / Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification."
@Christ_like_ish For the sake of readers:
The church Phil refers is not the Body of Christ, a spiritual man, aka Christ in those who are actually saved. True believers do sin *in the flesh*. It is kindness to tell of inward & outward sin w/ Christ as salvation from such received by faith alone.
She is only 9 years old.
She is confused and doesn’t even fully understand what’s happening.
This will never be normal. Any culture that does this is evil!
@Christ_like_ish The love of the true Church is shown for Christ's sake, not the sinner's, Gal2v20. Only a minister of Satan would accuse the Body of Christ & demand reparations to those still lost in a condition of enmity with God in one swoop. I leave you with terms of unconditional surrender.
@Christ_like_ish I live a life contradicting your dogma. 🏳️🌈 is a dead end both physically & spiritually (one has to pervert/reject the Word to embrace it). The natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God, freely given words, b/c that is the only avenue to receive them, 1Cor2v9-14.
Romans 6v6 KJV, "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."
@Christ_like_ish Harbingers of death, you say?
The gospel of grace is a gospel of death. The old man of every sinner is crucified with Christ, Rom6v6. The world and saint are crucified unto eachother there, Gal6v14. Christ must be your death before He can be your Resurrection.
@Christ_like_ish I've shown Biblically: ¹no sinner deserves mercy (it's the HOLY GIFT OF GOD); ²homosexuality is sin in nature & practice. You've shown that liberal Christendom doesn't understand mercy at all, as suggested by the original post. I want you all saved. You're a sugarcoated helltrap.
@Christ_like_ish Neither I, nor my local church, nor the Body of Christ have persecuted gays, unless you want to call my gospel such. I am not responsible for general Christendom. Mercy is Biblically defined as toward the undeserving, which implies guilt of some kind. It differs from kindness.
@Christ_like_ish Us/Our? The gospel of the grace of God includes His law which condemns all men. Softening the (inherently offensive) preaching of the cross for a particular "oppressed" group is not only partiality, it's toxic empathy born of Hell. "Conscience" makes many enemies of the cross.
@Christ_like_ish Fair? Every sin in Romans 1 deserves death, from sodomy to disobedience to parents. God hates it all. Mercy comes from the crucified heart of a holy God, for sin has to die.
Historic partiality from men will never negate this truth.
@Christ_like_ish As far as persecution goes, one can blame professing Christians for a lot of things, but the true Church has no sin, being the Body of Christ, the righteousness of God (2Cor5v17-21). Sins of true Christians are in the flesh, a bad testimony, but do not threaten it, Rom7, 1Jn3v9.
@Christ_like_ish As far as mercy goes, I noticed your answer wasn't a definition, Biblical or not. My mind goes to something like this📎. If mercy does not actually concede sin, then it's not mercy that's desired at all, but something else.
