Labour Parliamentary candidate for Brighton Pavilion. Campaigning for Labour’s New Green Deal, public services and an end to Tory austerity #VoteLabour
To all that supported Labour thank you. We will reflect and rebuild.Resist the worst excesses of this Tory government and plan for a left wing alternative! Labour has the youth vote which means it has the future we cannot lose that if we stay true to our principles #LabourParty
This is why we need a labour government and why it’s so important to vote for those who don’t have a voice. Housing will be a main priority for me I say this as someone who doesn’t own their own home. #ForTheManyNotTheFew#GE2019#VoteLabour2019 https://t.co/zDQMsKBJAJ
Boris Johnson says EU migrants treat the UK as though it were their country.
We've got news for him. If you live in a community and contribute to that community, you belong to that community.
Dear EU migrants, ask all your UK and Commonwealth friends to vote for you.
Universal credit is the most unjust change to welfare since the creation of the welfare state. Labour will stop this indignity thrust upon the vulnerable by this Tory government !#VoteLabourDec12#GE2019
@LaraPerryArtHst @SUBrighton It’s about the health service being properly funded so it can cover all aspects of life such as adult social care which currently comes under local authority budgets which have been cut by more then 50% since 2010
SWEP is open tonight (Wednesday 4 December). The SWEP (severe weather emergency protocol) shelter is open for all people who are rough sleeping in the city.

Out here supporting @BrightonUCU @sussexucu at Brighton station. Terrific turnout for the demonstration. Such an important struggle to take part in, and is really mobilising local support. Very proud to be here. #UCUStrikesBack
So many stations in the city are ending up unstaffed, which hits already underserved communities. With removal of guards on trains, it can make travel difficult for those with disabilities. Travel must be a human right, whether commuting or not, and it will be with Labour.
This will be a tremendous help for people in Pavilion who have already been hit year on year by the rise in fares, but also is such an important plank of a real Green New Deal. Rail travel can’t leave anyone behind.
The Tories have failed commuters for too long. Labour will take railways back into public ownership, cut fares by a third, provide free travel for under 16 year-olds and cut tickets for part-time workers. #OnYourSide
