Sad to see Max drop out at the start, fan support was next level. Ferrari there or there about but will be concerned to see McLaren enter the conversation with themselves and Mercedes.

All on all, a good race in Zandvoort, Norris and McLaren going back to back showing Hungary was not a one off fluke. Good steps forward, now they need to keep it up. Little disappointed in Piastri though only getting P6.

Another strong showing from Mercedes though George not estatic to be asked to swap with Kimi when the championship still on the line.

My key takeaway from F1 qualifying in Zandvoort was the pace of McLaren. Was expecting Ferrari or Mercedes to take the pole but Norris P1 with Piastri less than 2 tenths behind in P4.

If they can convert that into a win and podium and keep that performance over the coming races, were in for an interesting end to the season.
