@CanalRiverTrust No I’m afraid not. The guys operating the hoses were Asian, wearing hi-viz clothing and wearing turbans/pagris. They came from the industrial yard on to the towpath to check what looked like some kind of filter attached to the end of the hose in the water.

@AbiTurner72 Yup. Live don a Narrowboat for 3 years. Im never more than 45 mins from town and I live in the woods. It’s hard work sometimes but no regrets at all.
