@vortexEire@SkyNews They're bodyguards. Ex-servicemen who'd take a bullet if they had to. Only there because Charlie Kirk and Jo Cox events happen. I loathe Labour's anti-growth envy politics but I wouldn't deny any of them protection from weirdos or insult the brave people who'd protect them.
@61outof1000@DAaronovitch He doesn't want his family's homes to be identified. So obviously he'd release doorbell footage to appease imbeciles on Twitter.
@DAaronovitch@FreeNationTalk Remember Charlie Kirk. And Jo Cox. These things happen - and Farage gets WAY more hyperbolic nonsense from the media than convicted criminals Louise Haig, Tulip Siddiq etc - or my old, jailed Labour MP David Chaytor. Identifying Nigel's daughter's home is despicable.
@MrsSamClarke@danwootton@Shurikenblaster I remember the press found out that Starmer's son somehow got to revise in Lord Alli's flat during Covid. I don't see how that was ever Reform hounding Starmer's family? You, like so many others, have Reform Delusion Syndrome.
@RichardBurgon Your party accepted ยฃ4 million from a Cayman registered (tax avoiding) hedge fund and over ยฃ500,000 from 8 companies who then received almost ยฃ150 million in Government contracts. Sorry if the numbers are too big for your head Burgon, but that's real corruption.
@RichardBurgon They harrassed his daughter you moronic piece of plankton.
My Labour MP (David Chaytor) was jailed for fraud. Burnham sends contracts his wife's way. Starmer's so rich he forgot he owned a field. Corbyn grew up in a mansion.
@portraitinflesh We can barely afford the infrastructure for the population already here. Only an idiot would endlessly welcome people we cannot afford to keep - whatever colour they happen to be. And a party with Zia Yusuf, Laila Cunningham and Nadim Zahawi at its top is obviously not racist.
@adepstein1 I second this - live in Gtr Manchester but don't consider us anything special over Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, Scotland etc etc etc. I also remember well that Manchester voted against having a mayor in the first place.
@DanielJHannan My mum and dad lived in terraces with outdoor loos and no central heating. Now families in sink estates can afford multiple tellies, mobile phones and foreign holidays. That difference wasn't achieved by socialist redistribution. It was decades of economic growth, trickling down.
@LBC My mum and dad lived in terraces with outdoor loos. Now even the poorest families have multiple tellies, mobile phones, most have foreign holidays. That wasn't achieved by socialist redistribution, Andy. It was economic growth, trickling down.
@Jenny_1884 I'm overweight and I totally admit it's down to working behind a desk all day, not wanting to run after work, and liking carbs more than lettuce. Wish the state would butt out though. We all end up in the same place one day.
@philw1982@DanielJHannan@Francis_Hoar Labour HATE social mobility. They banned assisted place schemes, closing opportunities for the academically-gifted poor. They sneer at the working class they are supposed to champion. Blair wanted everyone to be a middle manager and to import a new working (under)class. Loathsome
@JamesMelville We have a milkman. We also have local farms. We're not at the heart of anything, we don't have mega Twitter profiles or get appearances on TV, but there's a lot to be said for being out of the cities.
